Spring it On at the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival! The 2025 event marks 44 years of the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival in Conyers. Shop among unique art and craft exhibitors, eat your way through the multiple food courts, enjoy cultural performances, listen to live music, and play in the children's area.

The Cherry Blossom Festival originated as a way to encourage cultural understanding and friendship through international music, dance, games, food and crafts. The cherry blossom is a symbol of short-lived beauty in Japan, and the City of Conyers embraces this tradition as well. The blooming of the cherry trees offers a time to reflect upon our lives. Like the blooming of the trees, life is short, so you have to appreciate and embrace it.

The Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival has received many awards over the years for Best Event in the Southeast by the Southeast Festival and Events Association. It has also been selected over the years as a Top 20 Event in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society for multiple years. Most recently the festival was selected as a Signature Event in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society!

Admission and Parking Fee:
Enjoy free admission with a $10 parking fee per vehicle. The festival accepts credit or debit cards ONLY for parking fees. In an effort to reduce person-to-person contact, cash is NOT accepted for parking fees. This applies to parking fees only. Vendors participating in the festival may choose to accept credit cards, debit cards or cash at their booth locations.

Headlining Artist: Heart of Atlanta

HEADLINING ARTIST: THUNDERGYPSY

THUNDERGYPSY delivers Soul-Stirrin', Blues-Rockin' music with an eclectic mix that spans the decades, primarily drawing from the mid-60s to mid-70s—a time of legendary music that continues to inspire. Their original tracks honor the traditions of that era.

The band features Heather Statham on vocals, Richard Price on guitar, Ken Williams on drums, and John Wolf on bass, creating a full sound that keeps you dancing all night. Fans often say they’ve never seen a band have so much fun on stage!

St. Patricks Day Shenanigans in Olde Town Conyers

Sakura is excited to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Conyers, Georgia this year! Sakura, the pink dragon, joined the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival family in 2021 as our mascot, and she's been having fun meeting new friends, exploring new places and getting to know her home in Conyers!

Sakura will be a part of the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Olde Town Conyers on Monday, March 17th. The parade begins at 5:00PM, and Sakura would love for you to join her as she participates in St. Patrick's Day Shenanigans this year. This year's St. Patrick's Day events include the World's Fastest Growing St. Patrick's Day Parade, followed up with leprechaun look-a-like contest, best pet costume, Irish Dancers, food trucks and more.

SAKURAS GARDEN

Visit Sakura’s garden where kids and adults alike can add their wishes and hopes to the Cherry Blossom Wishing Tree! The garden will also host a free children’s art tent to make fun frog toys, animated story time sessions and educational flower-crafting activities with the Rockdale County Master Gardeners. Sakura, the festival’s pink dragon mascot, will make special appearances in her garden throughout the weekend! Meet LIVE turtles and snakes hosted by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and learn all about the art of the BONSAI tree from the Atlanta Bonsai Society! And if you're into puzzles, make a stunning bonsai tree with mini building blocks!

LIVE PAINTING GIVEAWAY! TAKE HOME HISTORY

Each day, talented artists from The Sketching Pad will create a stunning live painting of the festival. Enter our raffle for a chance to win one of these unique pieces! Winners can pick up their artwork after the festival and take home a special memento to celebrate our 44th Anniversary! What an amazing opportunity to take home a piece of history!

Proof of the Pudding Chef Demonstration

This year, we’re thrilled to feature Proof of the Pudding with their “Proof Action Station.”

Watch as a LIVE chef prepares their signature Italian Meat Sub right in the heart of the festival! This mouthwatering sub is made with fresh tomatoes, homemade marinara,

and the perfect blend of flavors – all grilled to perfection with flames that melt the cheese and

toast the bread just right. Be sure to stop by for a truly unforgettable taste!

What better way to celebrate the season than tantalizing your taste buds? The Chef Demonstration will take place in the Main Food Court under the large seating tent. Demonstrations begin at 12:30PM each day.

Their remarkable journey includes serving clients across local, regional, and national levels. The Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival is thrilled to have Rob Clark, Jr. as the Master of Ceremonies on the Render Covington Main Stage on Saturday and Sunday. Rob is an internationally recognized keynote public speaker, master of ceremonies, and disc jockey. He has MCed and entertained at over a thousand events all over the US, Canada, and the Caribbean. His unique blend of humor, infectious energy, and warmth, make him a crowd favorite and sure to bring smiles to guests of all ages! He’s a Board member of the National Speakers Association and has performed at numerous comedy clubs including the Punchline Comedy Club in Atlanta. MC DJ STAT!C

Selah (DJ STAT!C) is excited to serve as the MC for the upcoming "Spring It On" cheering event, bringing a high-energy, hip-hop-inspired vibe to the occasion. He is thrilled to be part of an event that showcases the talent and enthusiasm of young cheerleaders from elementary through high school. Outside of his professional life, Selah enjoys spending time in nature, exploring the outdoors, and appreciating the beauty of the world around him. With a strong interest in engineering, he is dedicated to innovating for the future and blending creativity with practicality to create exciting possibilities. Selah looks forward to energizing the crowd, cheering on the participants, and helping to make "Spring It On" an unforgettable experience for all involved.

Ready to tap into our creative and artistic side? The Sketching Pad will be on site to help you get started! Visit The Sketching Pad during the festival at Booth #332, and purchase a small canvas, pottery, or wooden shape to paint on site with the guidance of The Sketching Pad team. Cost is $5 per shape.

Treasures in the Trees

Throughout the month of March, be on the lookout for paper "blossoms" along the trees, bushes and other structures along the trails while hiking any areas of the Big Haynes Creek Nature Center, located at the Georgia International Horse Park, as well as in Olde Town Conyers. These "blossoms" will be hiding each week with the goal to have various visitors find them to trade them in for a handcrafted nature-inspired keepsake created by some of our the festival’s featured artists.

Visitors who find a "blossom" should take a selfie with it and tag Big Haynes Creek Nature Center with #BHCNC or #oldetownconyers, #Springiton, and #TreastruesintheTrees. They are also welcome to stop into the Administration Office at the Georgia International Horse Park (located just across the road from Big Haynes Creek Nature Center) to get a free parking pass to the festival. Treasure finders can then bring the petal to the Information Booth at the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival on March 22 or 23 to collect their beautiful festival keepsake. So, look up, look down, look all around...and find treasures that await!

Be a part of the festival by participating in the Pink Out! Dress in the festival colors, decorate your stroller or wagon, and join in the festivities. Secret judges will be roaming the festival looking for the best dressed patrons and elaborately decorated strollers and wagons. If you get spotted, you will get Pinked and win fun festival prizes!
